yes, or if you just hold something stainless under cold water. did you also know that if you stick your tongue out when chopping onions your eyes won’t water.
Thanks for the tip, though now the draining board stinks of onions!!
Yep, any time your hands are smelly because of cooking, do the rub and the stink is gone!
Thanks for that.
thanks, wish i’d knowm that when i worked in kitchens, i used to hate the smell!
Wow thanx for the tip : )
Defintly going to try it!
Wow. Thanks for the tip!
why dont they invent a stainless steel chopping board?
:S
i usually just wash my hands, but i’ll give it a go when i do my sausage casserole in about 15 minutes.
this works for garlic and other smelly stuff too!
Just rubbed it against my stainless steel knife…and ouch!
Thanks for the tip. I know you can buy a gadget in kitchen stores which obviously does the same think but costs more!
thnx for generious advice
Kitchen supply places sell special devices you can use, they’re basically small pieces of stainless steel that they sell for a decent amount of money. I have an all-stainless knife, so I rub my hands on the handle as I wash it to remove onion or garlic smell.
Bloody hell, and I’ve been using soap all these years????
