Viburnum – they like good moist soil and will happily grow – pulling moisture out of the ground – You can get different colours as well – flower toe or three times a year
Coleanthus – like dry or moist areas – but like sun as well – can grow big – two types – ground cover and tree shrub –
Lavatera and Lilac also will drink loads

Hydrangeas drink loads and are really easy to grow. (I use them for a drainage purpose too).
Evergreens are good because they have to keep drinking through the winter aswell to stop their leaves drying in the harsh winds. Viburnum tinus would be good.
My question relates to land drainage. This is a statement that I have to discuss and form an opinion on, but I am having trouble finding information on it. If anyone knows of anything please let me know, it would be a great help!
Could you give me a few pointers as to what I should
We are in the process of building a garden at work. We have lots of cobalt glass bottles, non recyclable here, and would like to put them to good use. Can I break them and use them as drainage with rocks without any side negative affects?
everyone seems to be missing the point. i dont care
I live in South Carolina and have the “wonderful” southern clay in my garden. What can I put in there to help water drain? We had a storm today and there is literately about 4 inches of standing water in there right now. It’s going to be a vegetable garden, so it can’t be anything
